Today, we've made it a whole lot easier for Adobe Illustrator users to get into 3D. And best of all, we've done it for FREE!
Introducing Cineware for Adobe Illustrator
You may know that MAXON makes the popular 3D software: Cinema 4D. And whilst that's a great solution for your 3D needs within Illustrator, you were still reliant on making a final graphic or path. But now that's all changed. With our new FREE plugin, called Cineware for Illustrator, you can add and edit 3D objects directly in Illustrator!
What The big companies think
I could sit here all day and tell you this plugin is great, but it's much better coming from artists in the industry. The above movie shows that Illustrator artists from companies both big and small have been involved in developing the plugin and find it a very useful part of their workflow.
How it works
Cineware for Illustrator makes it so easy for an artist to work with 3D models directly in their creative app of choice. Imagine being able to make fast changes to the model. Change angles, lighting, artwork and so much more.
Need models to get you started?
TurboSquid is a leading provider of 3D models. MAXON has partnered with them to offer some free and some paid-for content specifically for Cineware for Illustrator. Check out the 3D Models for Illustrator.
Need Custom 3D Models and Scenes?
If you decide that you need to make more customised 3D models and scenes, that's where Cinema 4D comes in. MAXON makes a variety of 3D versions and licence types. If you're toe-dipping into 3D for the first time, we highly recommend going for our starter app: Cinema 4D Prime. You can always upgrade to a more powerful version when you've learned the basics, but you may find Prime is all you ever need. Prime contains the core 3D toolset that all 3D artists rely on. We offer perpetual and short-term licences:
Cinema 4D Prime Short Term Licence - from £35 ex VAT per month.
Cinema 4D Prime Perpetual Licence - from £650 ex VAT.
